The Challenge
ECTP Argentina, a Business Unit within BTG Pactual Group, underwent the implementation of an S4HANA Global Template to replace their local ERP system. This rollout encompassed not only localization features but also industry-specific functionalities and crucial integrations with the core trading contracts solution.
Al Roll Out involucró no sólo la incorporación de los aspectos de localización legales-impositivos, sino también funcionalidades específicas de la industria y la integración con la aplicación vertical específica para el manejo punta a punta de los contratos de granos.
Execution
ECTP and BTM collaborated, bringing together our experts in SAP implementations, business process consulting, and project management, alongside ECTP’s key business users, to conduct the project in close coordination with SAP and the core vertical solution technical teams.
BTM services included::
- Project management and coordination of local users and technical teams, as well as liaison with the Corporate IT Department.
- Support in defining business process and functional requirements.
- Integration Technical leadership (SAP and AgroBIT core application).
- End-to-end User Acceptance Tests Leadership.
- Data Migration Leadership.
- Knowledge and Change Management.
- Post-Production Support.
Outcome
- On time-on budget project implementation.
- Complex integrations were transparent to business users from the beginning, even in the most specific grain trading scenarios.
- Our coordination and support in activity execution enabled business users and leaders to optimize their project time by concentrating on essential, non-delegable tasks while we handled everything else.
- Business leaders maintained their focus on business operation while the project took place as planned.
Congratulations to the ECTP Argentina Finances team and BTM project consultants for becoming such a strong team and making this tranformation happen!
